Design and Technology Lead Subject Tutor (LST)
We have a rare opportunity to recruit a Lead Subject Tutor (LST) for Design and Technology, to work with the SCITT, part-time from August 2021.
Every Friday, you will work with the SCITT to develop an exciting and powerful DT curriculum which you then deliver to the trainee teachers. You are central to developing the next generation of great DT teachers as you demonstrate the value of your subject and the impact it can have on your students.
You will need the support of your school and their agreement to release you, each Friday, from 8:30am – 12pm
This role offers a number of benefits to you, as the LST, as well as to your employing school. You will be immersed in the latest research-informed pedagogy with ongoing opportunities to develop. You will work with a wide range of partner schools and develop an extensive network of teachers, teacher educators and great thinkers within your field.
With the role-out of the Early Career Framework (ECF), the skills, experiences and the network you develop will make you an invaluable asset in the school’s developmental journey.
