Academy Transformation Trust (ATT) is a family of 21 cross phase academies. Our mission to transform lives by putting education first is supported by our vision of sharing the very best practice across our Trust, helping to build systems and processes that really work.

We’re committed to supporting our colleagues with the very best professional development, allowing them to stay focused on learning and developing as practitioners while they progress in the careers with our Trust.

Our Mission

Academy Transformation Trust: transforming lives by putting education first

Our Vision

Transforming Lives of Our Learners:

We seek to ensure that all our learners receive a high-quality education from expert staff and aspire to achieve the best they possibly can, no matter their background or ability. Our learners have a safe, supportive learning environments in which they develop, grow, and challenge themselves. We are determined that our learners will receive the very best enrichment and opportunities to help them reach their full potential and ensure they are prepared for the future, wherever it might take them.

Transforming Lives of Our Colleagues:

Our colleagues are supported with the very best professional development through our innovative ATT institute, allowing them to stay focused on learning and developing as practitioners whilst they progress in their careers. We share the very best practice across our community of academies to help build systems and processes that really work.

Transforming Lives of the Communities We Serve:

We are committed to actively engaging with and addressing inequality in our local areas. We understand that every one of our academies and their diverse communities are different, so we aim to build a supportive, collaborative, and nurturing relationship with each whilst sharing our key values across our Trust.

Our Values

Commitment to Education

Our core purpose is to positively impact the lives of all our learners. Education will always be at the heart of everything we do.

Transparency and Integrity

We're proud to shout about our success whilst being open and honest about our areas for improvement. Our actions are always ethical and in the best interests of all our stakeholders.

Innovation and Improvement

We're committed to innovative education - always moving forward and never standing still. Our learners are prepared for a future that is constantly changing and developing.

Dedication to Inclusivity

Our learners are all different and all important to us. We aspire to support, challenge, and help each one of them reach their potential, regardless of their background or level of ability.

Our ATT Institute is a unique resource; a dedicated team of qualified professionals working to facilitate the very best professional development for our 2000 colleagues.

ATTI places the needs of our diverse communities and stakeholders at the forefront of their work, valuing collaboration within and beyond out Trust. This works on the basis that leadership doesn't only come from the top of an organisation but must be genuinely stakeholder led; our colleagues in education, admin, estates, finance, operations, and governance are all offered equal opportunities to grow ad improve.

Flexible Working

We understand that flexible working gives employees the important opportunity to achieve a better balance between their work and home commitments through simple changes to working patterns and hours. To maintain a supportive working environment, we'll make every effort to appreciate your needs - such as family responsibilities, work, and caring responsibilities - and be as flexible as we to accommodate your preferred working hours.

Wellbeing

We place a great importance on the welfare and wellbeing of our colleagues. Our wellbeing strategy aims to develop healthier working environments, focus on personal growth, and share health and lifestyle initiatives, to promote positive working relationships.

Our dedicated team of academy Wellbeing Champions share best practice and ideas across our Trust. Colleagues can access free confidential help and advice 24 hours a day, every day, via our Employee Assistance Programme and in-house occupational health service. We care about our colleagues' feedback and want to keep improving, so we ask for your thoughts in our annual anonymous wellbeing survey.

Check out our @ATT_Wellbeing Twitter account.

Benefits

Our benefits platform, Vivup, offers colleagues a wide range of deals and savings on everything from leisure activities to lifestyle savings. Our Employee Assistance Programme gives you access to free external, confidential advice on personal and work-related issues whenever you need it.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

At ATT, we are always striving to celebrate Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity across our communities. We believe that all members of the ATT family should feel valued and free to actively promote DEI with our students, staff and stakeholders through open, honest and thought-provoking conversations.

We view DEI as a core value; it is present in our everyday lives and the lives of our students. By embracing our differences, we model the exemplary behaviour we want our students to take into their lives post-education.

ATT has a DEI working group established with representative staff members from KS1 to Further Education. The group collaborates on changes to the Trust's policies and CPD offerings. As a group we are consistently trying to become proactive allies for Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity so that everyone at ATT can continue #TransformingLives.

We are a Disability Confident Employer

Armed Forces Covenant (AFC)

ATT is proud to have signed the Armed Forces Covenant (AFC) to affirm our commitment to the armed forces community. The AFC is a promise by the nation ensuring that those who serve or who have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated with fairness and respect in their communities.

We've received the Gold Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme in recognition of our intent to support and advocate our armed forces personnel. The ERS distinguishes commitment and support from UK employers for defence personnel, their communities, and families.

Our 21 academies have all pledged their support for the AFC, with each being awarded their individual Gold ERS. Our vision is to ensure that all children and young people, regardless of their background, fulfil their educational potential and maximise their life chances. As a charitable organisation, we epitomise working inclusively within our communities, embracing the varied localities we serve.
